Read before you book!

We require the following information in order to make a booking:

  • Date of camp (Arrival, Departure)
  • Accomodation/Campsite (If you know)
  • Number of people older than 6 years and number of children 6 and under.
  • What is your camping equipment, i.e.: tent or caravan. If a caravan, what make and model?
  • Cellphone number
  • Are you a pensioner? (Pensioner's discount does not apply for weekends and school holidays)

Additional information that can help us to deliver faster service to you:

The bookings office is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00.

Please provide the above information with each booking to help us provide you the correct campsites. Even your camping equipment is important, e.g.: A double-axle caravan is unsuitable for Bloekompark #1-4.

Often more than one person is working on bookings, and when somebody books over the phone we have no record to go back to. For this reason, we prefer to do all bookings by email.

We receive a great deal of emails as well as many phonecalls every day, so sometimes emails are left until the next day. Please be patient - we are a busy farm and things happen. We will try our best to respond to queries within 24 to 48 hours.

If you have already received an invoice, please use the invoice number as a reference number for all subsequent payments, emails and phonecalls. If you can also give us the booking date when making an enquiry, your enquiry can be processed much faster.

If possible, request available dates by email. When booking, give us more than one date if possible and we will get back to you. Keep in mind that there is a possibility that a requested date is filled by someone who already enquired before you.

Please make sure of your dates before booking (or that one of your family members hasn't already booked). Also make certain of the number of people as we cannot reduce the number and change the invoice when you check in. Due to the large number of invoices we have to change every day, we are forced to charge an administrative fee of R80 per alteration.

Please abide by the payment deadline on the invoice so that we don't have to send reminders for payments every week. We know it's easy to forget, but we can't send more than 2 reminders.

No WhatsApp please, unless you have no other means of communication.

Resort Rules:

  • Please make sure to extinguish fires, turn gas off and switch off all electrical blankets and aircons when away from your accomodation.
  • When something breaks, gets damaged or is out of order, notify the office or person on duty.
  • The use of all activities, swimming pools, river or dam are at own risk, parents have to supervise if necessary.
  • Enjoy the nature, but keep on the roads when walking.
  • The speed limit is strictly 20km/h for the sake of children, animals and the dust roads.
  • At departure please leave everything neat and PLEASE clean the dishes!
  • Alcohol may only be used on your campsite/accommodation. The use of alcohol in all other public areas is prohibited.
  • No refunds/credit will be granted for sudden or unscheduled changes/reductions to the number of people/nights on or after arrival.
  • Dogs (and pets) are only allowed on the 3 pet-friendly sites Rivierpark 1A,1B,2. They are not allowed in the public areas.

If the rules are not obeyed, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the resort without receiving any kind of refund.

Normal Rates


R200 per night per person

R120 per per night per child of 6 and under

R140 per night for pensioners (With ID proof), not applicable for weekends/long-weekends/school holidays except the June/July school holidays


R1600 per night per cottage

Fully-equipped Caravans:

R1350 per night for 1-4 people (Weekends or 2-3 weekdays)

Rates are subject to change.

Booking Rules:

  • Minimum 3-4 night stay depending on holidays.
  • Over the December/January holidays, a minimum booking of 14 days applies over Christmas/New Years.
  • Bookings over weekends must be for a minimum of 2 nights and a minimum of 2 people per campsite.
  • The pensioner's discount doesn't apply for weekends, long-weekends or school holidays.
  • Bookings strictly by e-mail, please.
  • No day-trippers allowed.
  • Rates are subject to change.

Check-in and Departure Times


  • CHECK-IN TIME ONLY UNTIL 19h00 (Unless otherwise arranged with the office)
  • at Cottages or Fully Equipped Caravans: every day @ 15h00
  • at Campsites: every day @ 12h00


  • at Cottages, Fully Equipped Caravans and Campsites: Monday-Friday @ 10h00, Sunday @ 14h00-15h00

Cancellation Policy:

  • No refunds will be given though a change can be made when circumstances outside of your control necessitate a change, but we must be notified by email at least 10 days prior to your arrival date.
  • Cancellations can be made if there is an emergency of illness or hospitilisation, upon which the date of the booking can be moved to another date. A Doctor's note or hospital admission form must be emailed to us.
  • A new booking date must be emailed to us within 7 days of cancellation.
  • All new bookings (On a cancellation) must fall within two months of the original arrival date. You may not receive the same number of campsite/cottage or fully-equipped caravan, but what is available at that time. If no place is available within two months of the original booking, the next available date will be given to you.

If the above points are not met with regards to cancellations, you will unfortunately lose your deposit and/or payment.
